Marubeni Automotive Corporation and the Marubeni Group were among the first to support the efforts of part manufacturers to expand their operations overseas, and have been actively doing so since the latter half of the 1980s. During this time we have established many joint venture companies in the Philippines, Indonesia, Korea, USA and China to produce parts through cooperative business operations. Using our vast experience and expertise, we provide our solutions for automotive manufacturing companies, helping them establish companies overseas and supporting the business operations of these companies after they are up and running.

• To help automotive part manufacturers enter foreign markets, we introduce them to local joint venture partners, develop procurement and sales channels for equipment and materials, and provide support for conducting feasibility studies (FS) and establishing local subsidiaries. Following the establishment of these subsidiaries, we continue to offer them assistance in business administration and other areas.
• Our years of experience in the industry and accumulated know-how have led to the successful establishment of 23 joint venture companies, with the majority of these companies being located in ASEAN and China.
• We dispatch our automotive parts personnel to locations across Guangzhou, Shanghai, Jakarta, and Bangkok to provide services specially catered to the needs of our customers.
• At Marubeni Automotive we go beyond the role of a supporting partner by making a concerted push to develop businesses outside Japan. We promote proactive business efforts in developing countries where we anticipate greater potential for growth, such as India, China, Russia, ASEAN countries, and South America.
