Basic policies

1. Conservation of the natural environment
In promoting corporate activities, we will give special consideration to the local community and natural ecosystem and make every effort to prevent contamination.

2. Compliance with environmental laws and regulations
We will comply with international environmental treaties as well as the laws, ordinances and self-imposed restrictions of Japan and partner countries.

3. Effective utilization of resources and energy
We will collect and provide information relating to the effective utilization of resources and energy, take steps to improve utilization efficiency and strive to conserve our limited global resources.

4. Realization of a recycling oriented economic society
We will contribute to the realization of a recycling oriented economic society by actively pursuing green purchasing and the effective utilization of recycled materials.

5. Establishment and constant improvement of an environmental management system
We will develop, implement and constantly strive to improve an environmental management system based on the Environmental Policies

6. Thorough familiarization and release of the Environmental Policies
Company officers and employees will all be made thoroughly aware of these Environmental Policies. In addition, educational and enlightenment activities will also be promoted to assure that they all understand and apply them. The policies shall also be released outside of the company in documentary or other form.
